The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dreaming Blast sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Beatrice Aurore to trotting so they were disqualified.

Komea Menestys saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Dreaming Blast sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Komea Menestys saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Komea Menestys sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Wilthorns Bad Girl made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Playing Electra.
