Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Messi Magpie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Maple Temptress was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Punching Striker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Stifling Stardust started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Apprécient Le Tour was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Punching Striker clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Rostock Racer suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Punching Striker today. It continued in the lead.



Apprécient Le Tour kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Apprécient Le Tour didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
