One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stunning Orchid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Stunning Orchid was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stunning Orchid followed by Dancing Wish and Passionate Viper. Lane two Golden Prince followed by Ocaso and Solid Star. Dancing Wish galloped for 30 m.



Golden Prince suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Stunning Orchid made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Golden Prince.
