One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nocturna sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.




High Excellency quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one High Excellency followed by Gold Runner and Nocturna. Lane two Courac followed by Pleasure In Carrots and Holy Sugar.



Thunder Miracle was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Thunder Miracle was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. High Excellency sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Gold Runner won. Pleasure In Carrots came in second. Courac caught third place.
