The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halsua this day.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Close Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Comfortable Boy suddenly started to galop. Kaarlo Ahokas had to struggle to get Comfortable Boy to tror again and succeded after 50 m. When the startcar left the field Amber Brightness started to galop and lost 10 m.

Thinking Gentleman saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Light Runner who started to galop and lost 30 m. Falling Hyena galloped way to long and was disqualified. Thinking Printer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Amber Brightness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sneaky Sword couldn't come out from behind the leader, Thinking Gentleman.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Thinking Gentleman today. It continued in the lead.

Amber Brightness was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Thinking Gentleman sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Close Man galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Sneaky Sword won. Thinking Gentleman came in second. Leading The Way caught third place.
