One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Beard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Adelaïde accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Adelaïde sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Adelaïde kept the speed the whole finish and won before Light Beard and Turning Gossip.
