The sun was shining on Halmstad today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nil By Mouth could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Excellent Boy followed by Just Cruiser and Nil By Mouth. Lane two Tripping Feeling followed by Confident Beard and Bratislava.




Just Cruiser was still in the lead after 2000m.



Confident Beard kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Just Cruiser kept the speed the whole finish and won before Tripping Feeling and Nil By Mouth.
