One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

L'Étoile Mystérieuse could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Carbon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Babooshka saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Quiberon was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Babooshka was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Winner Girl galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Babooshka followed by Well Said Pierce and Holy Starshine. Lane two L'Étoile Mystérieuse followed by Mr Anderson and Winner Girl. Carbon started to gallop after 1500m and Hans Crebas had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Mr Anderson was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. L'Étoile Mystérieuse speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Tommy Zackrisson tried a little too much on the homestretch and L'Étoile Mystérieuse started to galopp and lost 30 m. Il Figlio was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Well Said Pierce sprinted over the finishline before Babooshka and Holy Starshine.
