The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frank The Tank found a gap and took the lead. Dani Alves Baby followed before Strongbow. When the startcar left the field Monarchia Costituzionale started to galop and lost 20 m.




Ultime Survivre saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Strongbow sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
