It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starshine Necklace could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Running Cake sprinted to the front.




Running Cake was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Running Cake followed by Starshine Necklace and Passion Of Life. Lane two Fenena followed by Beauty Without Cause and Godisgullan.




Running Cake kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Running Cake looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Beauty Without Cause sprinted over the finishline before Passion Of Life and Fenena.
