One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Emporio Hoof tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Morning Dew that came steaming ahead. Glowing Giggle was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Dove Girl was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Bonnie Twist showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Glowing Giggle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Morning Dew took the lead after 1000m. Coral Fawlty didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Coral Fawlty looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Sad Necklace suddenly took over the lead.

Sad Necklace was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Dove Girl galoped for 20 m. Britt Corona was first on the homestretch followed by Morning Dew and Coral Fawlty.

Emporio Hoof made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Coral Fawlty.
