One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Éclatant Commencer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ride The Lightning that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Dr Sheldon Cooper sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dr Sheldon Cooper followed by Ride The Lightning and Veuve Clicquot. Lane two Force Of Speed followed by Kenmare and Star. Score A Goal galloped for 50 m.




Dr Sheldon Cooper was still in the lead after 2000m.



Veuve Clicquot speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Ride The Lightning won the race after a spectacular finish.
