The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Houdini Ås found a gap and took the lead. Holy Nugget followed before Rolling Runaway. Sudden Velvet galloped way to long and was disqualified. Passionate Duchess galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ohavný Být Pyšný sprinted to the front.

Holy Nugget took the lead after 1000m. Houdini Ås didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Holy Nugget today. It continued in the lead. Striking Wardrobe galloped for 30 m. Sudden Velvet started to gallop after 1500m and Leif Witasp had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Kahakoida Kohtuullinen galoped for 20 m. Houdini Ås speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Rebellious Rocker sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
