One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Van Vleck found a gap and took the lead. Wandering Necklace followed before Punch. Pointing Baby suddenly started to galop. Pål Sem had to struggle to get Pointing Baby to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Punch quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Pointing Baby sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pointing Baby followed by Van Vleck and Keelhauled. Lane two Speedy Thinking followed by Punch and Punching Pain.



Pointing Baby was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Pointing Baby kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Van Vleck, 2 Speedy Thinking, 3 Pointing Baby.
