One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Waste Of Words could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Travelling Whirlwind started to galop and lost 20 m. Paw Mahony wanted a little to much in the start and Waste Of Words galoped for 10 m. Care About You was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Rigspeter KØjborg quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Solid Tiger galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Ms Tempting started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Achill looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Waste Of Words couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rigspeter KØjborg. Care About You suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Waste Of Words accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Hickory Pride seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Hickory Pride seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.

Hickory Pride sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Ville Nisonen tried a little too much on the homestretch and L'Étoile Mystérieuse started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Argos won. Waste Of Words came in second. Hickory Pride caught third place.
