The sun was shining on Solänget today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Santana was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Santana who started to galop and lost 30 m. Snibb looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Comfortable Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Santana. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Santana today. It continued in the lead. Snibb started to gallop after 1500m and Robert Bergh had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Santana was still in the lead after 2000m. Santana were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. No-one could catch Santana today who won before Snibb and Comfortable Thrasher. Results
