It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Helpful Rocket was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Kari Rosimo wanted a little to much in the start and Schrei Für Mich galoped for 50 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Schrei Für Mich sprinted to the front. Dead Blast looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ville De Lumière couldn't come out from behind the leader, Schrei Für Mich. Schrei Für Mich looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Helpful Rocket couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dead Blast. No-one could catch Dead Blast today who won before Schrei Für Mich and Ville De Lumière. Results
