One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Run Away was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Soulshine started to galop and lost 10 m.




Holy Necklace saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Renew Life sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Holy Necklace galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Soulshine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Renew Life gallopped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Bonnie Twist gallopped for 50 m.




Soulshine didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Soulshine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Soulshine kept the speed the whole finish and won before Hunter and Run Away.
