The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mantorp this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Modest Sunshine sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Brown Sound saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Calming Man who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Useless Siege looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Alcatraz Hoof couldn't come out from behind the leader, Brown Sound. Lying Blossom galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Useless Siege looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Brown Sound galloped for 40 m.

Useless Siege kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Carlos Hera, 2 Heavy Energy, 3 Alcatraz Hoof.
