One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dusty Pie took the lead after a very quick start. Cunning Judge quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Dusty Pie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Screaming Blast couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cunning Judge. Shooting Valley galloped way to long and was disqualified. Cunning Judge looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Coughing Gal couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dusty Pie. Shooting Valley galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
