It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flying Pride was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Frozen Arraow started to galop and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Lou Kronos to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Odessa Larockma started to galop and lost 20 m.

Min Melodi saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Odessa Larockma started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Diana Duo sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Odessa Larockma galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Lou Kronos was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Diana Duo was still in the lead after 1500m.

Diana Duo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

King Lightning sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
