The weather had been good all week and Lahti was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Wind took the lead after a very quick start.




Sophisticated Girl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Emmerdale took the lead after 1000m. Sleeping Diva didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Stretching Carneval to trotting so they were disqualified.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Trembling Grove galop. Trembling Grove lost 20 m.




Stepping Wind sprinted over the finishline before Emmerdale and Sleeping Diva.
