One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wolly Wave tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Strong Ship that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Strong Boy, Strong Ship, Waving Dream, Stifling Pony, Coffrefort D'argent, Lonely Pie, Lind Hof, Wolly Wave. A bird flew just in front of Wolly Wave who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Strong Boy was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Waving Dream suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
