One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Goofy Sugar could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Idonette quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Goofy Sugar took the lead after 1000m. Stretching Mambo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Goofy Sugar followed by Idonette and Cosmic Sun. Lane two Stretching Mambo followed by Brave Raspberry and Elegant Necklace.



Goofy Sugar sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Elegant Necklace galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Winner of todays race was Goofy Sugar. Stretching Mambo came in second. Idonette became third.
