The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

White Knight sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Magaluf suddenly started to galop. Roger Malmqvist had to struggle to get Magaluf to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

Stopping Nova quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Asphalt sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Asphalt today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Magaluf galoped for 20 m. Asphalt kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

White Knight won the race after a spectacular finish.
