One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elegant Moonlight took the lead after a very quick start.




Sowing Nova quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Elegant Moonlight took the lead after 1000m. Alpine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Elegant Moonlight followed by Purple Queen and Trick Me. Lane two Alpine followed by Above Average and Sowing Nova.



Alpine suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Elegant Moonlight won the race after a spectacular finish.
