Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Black Sparrow found a gap and took the lead. Ginger Belle followed before Frodo. Teach Me Love showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

This is the positions after 500m. Awesome South One, Love Me, Frodo, Black Sparrow, Ginger Belle, Clever Rocket, Red Rose, Tricky Meadow.

Red Rose took the lead after 1000m. Clever Rocket didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Black Sparrow was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Red Rose galoped for 30 m. Black Sparrow took the lead after 1000m. Clever Rocket didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Clever Rocket made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Black Sparrow.
