The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Axevalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wocky Rinner found a gap and took the lead. Greenstone Archer followed before Perfect Miracle. Light Bouquet was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Lone Tank saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Wocky Rinner took the lead after 1000m. Ultime Survivre didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Walking Piece accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Walking Piece kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Ultime Survivre won. Wocky Rinner came in second. Foxley caught third place.
