One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Magic could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Viper suddenly started to galop. Hans-Owe Sundberg had to struggle to get Viper to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Close Blast who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Viper looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sliding Action couldn't come out from behind the leader, Perfect Magic. Oil Baron was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Perfect Magic followed by On My Mind and Sliding Action. Lane two Viper followed by Close Blast and Heavenly Whirlwind.



Perfect Magic sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Viper made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Perfect Magic.
