One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ottokar Larockma found a gap and took the lead. Starstruck Ring followed before Singing Dream. When the startcar left the field Moonlight Winter started to galop and lost 50 m. When the startcar left the field Dead Gladiator started to galop and lost 30 m.

Starstruck Ring saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Big Blizzard who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Starstruck Ring was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Java James was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Sneaky Asteroid galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
