One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eternal Nugget was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sunflake saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Eternal Nugget took the lead after 1000m. Sookie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Eternal Nugget followed by Sunflake and . Lane two Sookie followed by Wimpy Raspberry and .




Sookie seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Sookie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sookie. Sunflake came in second. Eternal Nugget became third.
