The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





No Sleep Till Brooklyn found a gap and took the lead. Desért Fleur followed before Going Forward.




Stifling Sun quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Stifling Sun clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Comrade Nicolai accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Stifling Sun gallopped for 50 m.




Comrade Nicolai kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Desért Fleur was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Comrade Nicolai sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No Sleep Till Brooklyn won. Going Forward came in second. Comrade Nicolai caught third place.
