The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dominant Beard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Dominant Beard was in fine shape and held the lead.




Dominant Beard was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Oliver Kahn suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dominant Beard followed by Strong Pirate and Tiny Scope. Lane two Useless Time followed by Backstabbing Thought and Opposing Meadow. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Troubling News gallopped for 20 m.



Dominant Beard looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Useless Time won the race after a spectacular finish.
