Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thunder Perfect could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Crown´s Master sprinted to the front.




Why took the lead after 1000m. Spin Away didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Thunder Perfect accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Spin Away started to gallop after 1500m and Carlos Söderström had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Why galloped for 50 m.




Thunder Perfect sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Thunder Perfect kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Spin Away showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Winner of todays race was Thunder Perfect. Black Moon came in second. Crown´s Master became third.
