It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Queen sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stunning Ruby sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Crossing Queen to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Turning Trap took the lead rather easily.




Turning Trap was still in the lead after 1500m.



Turning Trap looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Stunning Ruby galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Turning Trap didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
