One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Royal Empire tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Googoo Giron that came steaming ahead. Mats Karlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Googoo Giron galoped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Thai Massage started to galop and lost 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Thai Massage sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Googoo Giron looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Googoo Giron kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Googoo Giron didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
