It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





London Vermont tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sheela that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and London Vermont sprinted to the front.




The leader got disturbed by something and Funky Rocket took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Funky Rocket today. It continued in the lead.




London Vermont suddenly took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Oliver Kahn galoped for 50 m. London Vermont were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch London Vermont today who won before Sheela and Glamorous Drama.
