One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleeping Wardrobe sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Dancing Love showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Åke Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Über Eis galoped for 20 m.

For Eternity quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

For Eternity clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Counterfeit Wish was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Illumination clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

No-one could catch Illumination today who won before Sleeping Wardrobe and For Eternity.
