The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jo Jo Wibb was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Heavy Pressure sprinted to the front.




Maranero sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Maranero kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Maranero looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Jo Jo Wibb sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
