The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Saint Of Love could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Mépris suddenly started to galop. John Östman had to struggle to get Mépris to tror again and succeded after 30 m. Yeah was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Devil Spirit sprinted to the front.




Golden Stone took the lead after 1000m. Yeah didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Yeah looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Yeah was still in the lead after 2000m.



Golden Stone speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Saint Of Love won the race after a spectacular finish.
