One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cool Crown tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bold Cake that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Iwillwin started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Cool Crown, Rindis Turning Moonlight, Rodeo Clown Hoof, Quasimodo, Thunder Legend, Bold Cake, Templier, Iwillwin. Loving Gold started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Happy Puma who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Quasimodo sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Thunder Legend looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Thunder Legend looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Thunder Legend kept the speed the whole finish and won before Bold Cake and Quasimodo.
