One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Power Star. Le Plus Vite ended up behind the leader. Dead Soldiers Walts got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Gift From Heaven was in fine shape and held the lead. General Lee started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Precious Ace started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Forcefield looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Moulin Marron couldn't come out from behind the leader, Man Of His Word.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Man Of His Word followed by Dead Soldiers Walts and Le Plus Vite. Lane two Forcefield followed by Power Star and Moulin Marron.

Man Of His Word sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

No-one could catch Man Of His Word today who won before Power Star and Le Plus Vite.
