The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pavillon Marchand. Terrific Jet ended up behind the leader. Fleet Wood got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Close Night started to galop and lost 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Terrific Jet, Thunder Agent, Doctor Jones, Fleet Wood, Portable Devil, Shopper, Pavillon Marchand, Close Night.




Terrific Jet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Shopper accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Rockabilly Boy started to gallop after 1500m and Per Gustafsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Portable Devil suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Terrific Jet galop. Terrific Jet lost 50 m.
