One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Born This Way sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Take Five galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Clever Thinking sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Take Five who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Born This Way took the lead after 1000m. Verdi Hof didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Clever Thinking accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Clever Thinking sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Clever Thinking looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Take Five to trotting so they were disqualified.




No-one could catch Clever Thinking today who won before Verdi Hof and Born This Way.
