The sun was shining on Rättvik today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Preludia Star. In My Corner ended up behind the leader. Silhoutte Dancer got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Preludia Star was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Leif Witasp wanted a little to much in the start and Silhoutte Dancer galoped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Almost, In My Corner, Star Pointer, Silhoutte Dancer, Troubled Knight, Preludia Star, Mother Earth, .




Star Pointer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Star Pointer followed by In My Corner and Silhoutte Dancer. Lane two Mother Earth followed by Preludia Star and Troubled Knight. Mother Earth started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Star Pointer didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Star Pointer was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Mother Earth litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Mother Earth kept the speed the whole finish and won before In My Corner and Preludia Star.
