The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lapua today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Touch The Light could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Touch The Light clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Touch The Light today. It continued in the lead.




Pointing Daffodil took the lead.



Pointing Daffodil looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pointing Daffodil didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
