The weather had been good all week and Hoting was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Victory Hilly could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Opposing Grove was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Brave Bouquet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Brave Bouquet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



Victory Hilly clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Victory Hilly kept the speed the whole finish and won before Famous Flower and Brave Bouquet.
